Job Responsibilities
- Delivery of multiple QA projects to approved scope, budget, schedule, and quality expectations.
- Responsible for the structure, standards, and strategic direction by which all QA activities are performed.
- Responsible for leading continuous improvement of QA capabilities to optimise on its investments in terms of quality, efficiency, and cost.
- Responsible for assurance activities across all QA deliverables such as review of QA estimates, strategies, schedules, plans and completion reports.
- Responsible for implementing the metrics for every QA phase, for use in the evaluation and improvement of QA planning.
- Management and influence of key stakeholders, project sponsors and management on the value and importance of the QA function.
- Promote and instil QA process excellence, efficiency, and reduced cost to project deployment.
- Manage QA vendors (if applicable) to contractual and quality commitments.
- End to end accountability for QA delivery across the IT Department.
- Responsible for rolling out the QA practice philosophy and disciplines across the IT Department and with wider business community.
- Any other tasks/project assigned by your superior and management.

- Active management of QA team utilisation across project and operational demands.
- Manage QA scope, expectations, and requirements to ensure business objectives, technical solutions and quality objectives are met.
- Provide and ensure adherence to standards QA and quality assurance.
- Manage key QA stakeholder relationships and drive high customer satisfaction levels.
- Deliver QA to agreed standards with the appropriate mix of internal and external skills.
- Financial management and reporting of QA actuals and forecasts.
- QA resource forecasting and management.
- Promote QA process improvement where appropriate.
Requirements
- University degree in IT or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Previous successful QA practice management of several projects with at least 5 years’ experience as a QA Lead is essential.
- Deep knowledge of the software Systems Development Lifecycle is essential.
- Deep knowledge of QA processes, practices and methods is essential.
- A proven track record of managing and delivering successful QA outcomes in a complex environment is essential.
- Experience in building and leading a team through change is critical.
