Bursa’s Sustainability Reporting Requirements – Recent Developments Affecting Your Business

Sustainability reporting requirements were first introduced in Bursa Malaysia’s Listing Requirements back in October 2015. Since then, ongoing discussions have aimed to enhance these requirements, aligning them more closely with the growing global concern for adopting a common standard across all reporting entities. However, these developments can be complex, leaving businesses grappling to keep up.

Considering these challenges, our Head of ESG, Tina Thomas, hosted a webinar to provide guidance on the current requirements and recent changes, highlighting their implications for businesses’ sustainability reporting efforts.

Key topics covered included:

  • What listed companies should know about sustainability reporting?
  • What are the mandatory requirements for climate reporting?
  • Advisory Committee on Sustainability Reporting’s (ACSR) proposal on National Sustainability Reporting Framework (NSRF)
  • Global developments & available grants

If you require assistance with your sustainability reporting in Malaysia, please email us at [email protected].
