Vietnam’s Renewable Energy Market And DPPA: Opportunities And Key Considerations For Businesses
The introduction of DPPA marks a significant development in Vietnam’s energy market, creating new opportunities for manufacturers, industrial operators and multinational companies seeking greater flexibility in managing energy costs, achieving sustainability objectives and securing access to renewable energy sources.
Beyond energy consumers, the framework may also unlock opportunities for investors, project developers and businesses looking to participate in Vietnam’s growing renewable energy ecosystem.
As the market evolves, understanding how DPPA works, who can participate and the legal and commercial considerations involved will be critical for organisations evaluating their next move.
Join us in this webinar as we explore what this shift means in practice and where the opportunities and risks may lie.
Key Questions We’ll Address
- How is DPPA changing the way electricity can be procured in Vietnam?
- Which businesses are eligible to participate and under what models?
- What commercial opportunities could emerge for investors and renewable energy developers?
- How are electricity pricing, contractual protections and project risks managed?
- What do the latest regulatory developments mean for future market participants?
- What should businesses assess before entering a DPPA arrangement?
Who Should Attend?
- Large electricity consumers and manufacturers
- Industrial park operators
- Sustainability and ESG leaders
- Energy procurement and strategy teams
- Renewable energy developers
- Infrastructure and private equity investors
- Legal and corporate advisory professionals
Why This Matters
For energy-intensive businesses, DPPA could represent more than a new procurement mechanism. It may fundamentally change how renewable energy is sourced, negotiated and managed.
For investors and developers, it may signal the emergence of new commercial models within one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing renewable energy markets.
Understanding the opportunities is only the first step. Understanding the legal, regulatory and commercial realities behind them is where competitive advantage begins.
