About Angeline AwAngeline is an investment banking veteran with over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, capital markets, and strategic advisory. She was most recently Managing Director and Head of Singapore Global Banking at UBS Group AG and prior to that, was Managing Director and Head of Singapore Coverage for Investment Banking & Capital Markets at Credit Suisse. During her tenure with Credit Suisse and UBS, she led major mergers & acquisitions, equity capital markets, debt capital markets and financing transactions across Southeast Asia, including the first-ever SPAC IPO on the SGX and the first Southeast Asian tech unicorn listing. Angeline has deep networks in the corporate landscape in Asia where she has been delivering solutions to clients to meet their strategic and business objectives. Her leadership has earned industry recognition, with several transactions receiving “Deal of the Year” awards, and her team being named “Best Foreign Investment Bank in Singapore” numerous times by leading financial publications. As the Group CEO of BoardRoom Group, Angeline is responsible for driving growth, ensuring operational excellence and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and client-focus. Before joining BoardRoom, Suan Kit spent eight years at Tricor Singapore Pte Ltd (now Vistra) and most recently served as Head of Enterprise Sales and Account Management, South Asia. During this time, he successfully steered the business through significant milestones, including the sale of Tricor from Permira to Barings and the subsequent merger with Vistra. Earlier in his career, Suan Kit held leadership roles at BoardRoom as Director of Business Development, as well as Senior Finance Manager at DFS Ventures Singapore Pte Ltd, and began his professional journey with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Assurance. A Singapore Chartered Accountant and member of the ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant, Suan Kit combines deep technical expertise with proven commercial acumen. His professional background includes roles at Vietvalues Audit, BDO Consulting Vietnam, Tricor Group and Altios International. Brian’s experience includes Vietnam market development, leading Market Entry and the People Solutions team, and delivering compliance services to multinational clients. As BoardRoom Vietnam’s Country Manager, Brian manages ecosystem partners and works closely with the professional team to provide business advisory services and oversee compliance activities for foreign clients investing in Vietnam. Brian holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Law, Ho Chi Minh City, a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wales (UK) and completed the Accelerated Management Program at NUS Business School. In his previous role as the Group Head of Legal, Compliance & Sustainability at NTT DATA Payment Services, he managed legal, compliance and sustainability across ASEAN and Australia, while spearheading corporate exercises like M&As and ESOS. Kok Wai had successfully driven and integrated sustainability, earning NTT DATA Payment Services (formerly known as GHL Systems) inclusion in the Bursa Malaysia FTSE4Good & FTSE4Good Shariah Index in 2022, attaining Silver for the prestigious ESG Award 2023. He also advised the Board on MCCG compliance, strengthening anti-bribery, personal data privacy and corporate governance policies.
